It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of engineering. Fits nicely in the hand. Surprisingly compact for a 10x pro lens.

My first picture with the new lens. Surprisingly okay in ambient lighting at 14mm. I suppose f/4.0 isn't too bad when it's a bright day, although I can see this being pretty useless at night without a tripod.

iPhone pic comparing the two lenses. The 20mm prime is a tiny thing. When the 14-140 is installed, the GF1 suddenly feels like a DSLR...

Note that you can't really hold the camera like a point-and-shoot anymore; suddenly, I hold it halfway like a DSLR. I might buy the electronic viewfinder eventually; I can get a good discount at work.
